Job Purpose
To be in charge of the operation of Finance Functions relating to Academic Affair Department, Faculty and Scholarships and managing a team of Executives
Duties & Responsibilities
-To oversee and verify/approve claims for reimbursement and supplier invoices relating to Academic affairs Department & scholarships expenditure, ensuring that expenditure are budgeted and charged to the right account.
-To oversee and verify/approve entries relating to scholarship in ISIS Financial Aid System, ensuring that expenditure are budgeted and charged to the right account.
-To oversee and verify/approve invoices/letter to Donors/Grantors
-To oversee and verify/approve monthly detail reports by donations/grants /scholarships, with reference to terms and conditions stated in the related documentation such as agreement
-To devise and consolidate management reports related to scholarships to support management decision
-To provide periodic presentation on the utilization by the different funds to management
-To implement and update standard operation Procedures for the department
-To liaise with other functional staff to put the finances and accounts in context
-To assist in both the internal, external audit and related consultancy work.
-To provide advice to internal customers on Finance related guidelines
-To provide advice to internal customers in their day-to-day execution of finance duties to ensure compliance with the guidelines.
