Competencies

- At least 2 years of regional compensation and benefits experience in a complex matrix multinational environment. Strong preferences will be given to those with experience in C&B integration due diligence work. - A Graduate (or Diploma holder with the proven track record) with strong numerical, logical and analytical skills. - Have sound knowledge of Mercer IPE job evaluation system and strong hands-on experience in handling multiple survey provider job matching methodologies, data submission and reporting extraction requirements. - Possess some working knowledge of technical international assignment pay methodologies (eg, Balance sheet and costings). - Have exposure in using global employee database systems, reporting extraction as well as user-testing and implementation of an on-line salary management tool. - Must be highly skilled in Advanced Excel applications. - Knowledge of Access would be a plus. Good in Powerpoint, MS word. - Has proven track record of consolidating large volume of data while maintaining accuracy. - Must have excellent follow-up and co-ordination skills, delivers timely and neat closure of tasks under minimal supervision. - Possess strong written and communication skills. - General knowledge of generalist HR functions and project management would be ideal. ResponsibiliTies

As a member of the Corporate Rewards and Mobility team, the incumbent will be a valuable member in building and contributing to the Companys Rewards and Mobility agendas. The successful candidate will focus on Asia Pacific region (mainly China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Pacific, Japan, Korea) with the potential scope expansion to support Corporate level. This position reports to the Regional Head of C&B. The role includes tracking processes, project co-ordination, research best practices, administer annual surveys, reporting and relationship building with internal stakeholders. REMUNERATION SURVEY MANAGEMENT :- - Liaise with various survey providers, global /local HR in ensuring regional reporting and job evaluation methods correlation requirements are met. - Highly resourceful in extracting data from multiple vendor sources. Ensure timely submission of country surveys. - Assess, submit and extract survey pricing data from various provider’s on-line systems for inputs into our internal format. - Work closely with HR teams in countries to ensure processes and data quality standards are fully met and maintained. PROJECTS AND REPORTING :- - Regular follow-ups and liaison with internal staff /external vendors to collect, consolidate and validate data to facilitate management decisions. - Assist in tracking Reward projects milestones and ensuring timely dissemination of information to relevant parties. - Customize templates, cleanse data outputs into required formats, charting, presentations for specific communications. - Conduct research on various Rewards and Mobility topics as guided by the Regional Head. INTERNAL ADVISOR:- - Establish and maintain good customer relationships with country HR. Provide countries regular analysis of employee C&B data as well as guidance on basic reward principles, policies and market practices. - Conduct basic training and communication sessions to help raise HR community technical expertise in C&B. INTEGRATION/HARMONISATION:- - Compile, document and summarize large volumes of data, policies and employee benefits data from multiple sources for the purpose of gap analysis.
