  • Able to deal well in a fast-paced environment and have a pleasant disposition
  • Very good organizational skills (systematic in filing, scheduling, etc.)
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Knowledge in using SAP
  • Prior experience in HR preferred         

 

 
ResponsibiliTies

The responsibilities of this role encompasses:

Responsible for Research Staff HR functions, Administration of Consultation Work & Conflict of Interest cases, Campus Visits. The candidate will serve as the expert resource for staff benefits and leave matters, and lead in the Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and People Developer Standards (PDS) initiatives. The Candidate will also be responsible for the reporting of these functions to the Management Committee.

  • Lead for Research Appointments – including processing all HR functions relating to Research Appointments.
  • To perform and manage human resources functions pertaining to recruitment and selection, employee/employer relations and performance management
  • Process new Appointments, Contract renewals and exit formalities for staff exiting the system
  • Maintain and update research employee personnel data in the HR Management System (SAP)
  • Assist in administering of annual performance review exercise and any other HR exercises for Research Staff
  • Support the Faculty Recruitment Committee (FRC)
  • Provide HR support to Research Centres for Research Staff HRM
  • Administrator for Consultation Work matters
  • Administrator for Conflict of Interest exercise
  • To be fully competent & attend to any queries pertaining to Staff Benefits and Leave Matters
  • To arrange for all academic visits
  • To arrange all logistics for campus visits for Faculty recruitment
  • To arrange and coordinate internships’ appointments
  • Backup support for Adjunct & Faculty appointments
  • Involved in the School’s Business Continuity Plan initiative for verification
  • To support efforts and initiatives to prepare the school for PDS certification
  • Any other duties related to the portfolio as assigned by Senior Associate Dir (HR) and Dir (Corp Services)
