Our client, a leading education institute, is searching for a Manager (Fund-raising) to join their team.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience: 

  • Degree in Banking, Business, Marketing or equivalent
  • Or degree with minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising function or similar capacity such as comparable experience in marketing and promotions, public relations, key-client solutions, sales, and business development roles in private banking or IT industry are welcome to apply.
  • You need to have proven track record and demonstrated outstanding performance in a target-based environment.
  • You are highly effective in client engagement, relationship building and working closely with multiple stakeholders.
  • Have the ability to influence and motivate, with prior success in high-level negotiations and competent in managing projects with competing priorities, requests and datelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and is a positive team player.
  • Results-driven, highly organised and self-motivated.
  • Creative problem-solving and good project management skills are higly desirable.
  • If you have good network with corporations, foundations, trusts, high-networth individuals and other wealth sources as well as familiarity with higher education philanthropy an added advantage.
 
ResponsibiliTies

The responsibilities of this role encompasses:

  • To increase fundraising efforts to encourage and secure philanthropic support to meet corporate advancement goals.
  • To identify funding opportunities and work with key stakeholders in the University to design campus-wide gift programmes.
  • To develop proposals and presentations to match prospects interests with priorities of our University and initiate strategic alliances to promote funding and partnership opportunities for the university are part of the responsibilities.
  • The key responsibilities of this role will involve research, identify, connect with and manage an active portfolio of prospective and existing donors.
  • To establish or deepen a strong network of relationships for the advancement office of the University and to develop and implement effective strategies to broaden prospects base, build up pipeline and convert prospects to donors.
  • Actively steward existing donors to promote continued support and generate higher levels of giving.
  • Increase external relations and enhance awareness of our university amongst the community.
  • Provide support for gift administration and donor-related event management, undertake and perform other tasks and duties as assigned based on institutional need.
