Our client, is actively searching for a Manager/ Senior Manager, Procurement/Finance to join their team.

  • Degree with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in procurement related areas
  • Preferably with 1-2 years of supervisory experience
  • Able to contribute proactively and positively in a team environment
  • Highly adaptable, Organised and meticulous with an eye for detail
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of integrity

 

 
ResponsibiliTies

The responsibilities of this role encompasses:

  • Support the planning and implementation of the university’s procurement needs in line with the company’s objectives.
  • Provide advices on the most appropriate procurement and bid evaluation strategy, coordinating and documenting the process to maintain robust and transparent records in accordance with university’s procurement policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that contracts are procured and awarded to contractors in accordance with the procurement policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the review and update of university Procurement Manual.
  • Ensure that tenders and contract documentation are complied with all current legislation, university policies and procedures.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of procurement records in accordance with the guidelines set in the university procurement manual.
  • Prepare meaningful procurement reports on spend and vendor performance analysis for management.
  • Involve in the appointment and management of Corporate Travel agent and corporate insurance programme
  • Review the work performed by the Executives.
  • Involve in system improvement projects and any other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned by Assistant Director (Procurement) or Director (Finance)
