Competencies |
In order to be successful for this role, the candidate must possess the following competencies and experience:
- Diploma or degree from a program in Motion Graphics and Broadcast Design, Interactive and Digital Media, Multimedia and 3D Animation, or Film and Media Studies.
- Experienced with field-recording video production, including but not limited to the roles of Director, Camera Operator, Audio Technician, Editor
- Comfort and competence in using a range of consumer and professional video cameras and audio recording technology
- Experience using video post-production, and graphic design software including but not limited to Adobe Creative Cloud (Premier Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop..), Maya (an advantage) . . .
- Able to establish collaborative working relations with Professional Officers to plan educational media productions tailored to an audience of the institute’s learners
- An optimistic attitude suited to a challenging and dynamic working environment with tight deadlines is essential

Our client, an established public university, is looking for a Educational Media Producer to join their esteemed organization.

The roles and responsibilities of this role include:
- The Educational Media Producer is a team member of the Center for Learning Environment and Assessment Development (CoLEAD). You will work closely with the Professional Officers Division (mainly responsible for laboratory management, safety and training students to use laboratory equipment) to produce a series of videos on the use of equipment and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works in partnership with the Assistant Director of the POD and Professional Officers in the production of educational media to facilitate Lab Safety Training and Equipment Usage.
- Collaboratively guides PO staff through the conceptualization, planning, production, and delivery of video, multi-media, and on-line educational media
- Records and edits educational media both in-studio and on location.
- Supervises the organization, use, and maintenance of the POD’s educational media and production equipment.
- Designs and produces Animated Motion Graphics for educational media.
