Our client, a global MNC, is looking for a Software Engineer to join their esteemed organization.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experiences

• Degree or Masters in Electronics / Microelectronics or relevant fields.
• Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming.
• Solid understanding of serial communication protocols between IC (I2C, SPI).
• Familiarity with GUI frameworks (WPF, WinForms).
• Proven experience in at least one of the following programming languages: C#, C++, Java.
• Experience with application development for Android / Windows Phone is a plus.
• Experience with application development for measurement systems (LabView) is a plus.
• Experience with firmware development at microcontroller level is a plus.

 

As part of a leading team of R&D engineers in our fast-growing business unit, this is a newly-created position where software activity is tightly coupled to the development of hardware. For this reason, a good understanding of electronics, communications protocols and automated measuring systems in mandatory.

The responsibilities of this role encompass:

• Evaluates the needs of both internal and external customers.
• Select the right language / development tool for the job, depending on the various constraints (time schedule, system compatibility, etc.).
• Develop the application following software engineering principles, within a multi-developers team.
• Assures software quality by designing testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.
• Maintain the application during its whole lifecycle.
• Prepares software documentations (user manuals).
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
