ResponsibiliTies |
The purposes for this job include:
The Associate Director will assist the Associate Dean (Executive Education and Research) to manage the performance of the Department. The Associate Director will guide programme development, delivery and evaluation and be responsible for overall team management, including professional development of staff. The position holder will have a particular focus on designing and developing new training programmes and overseeing the quality assurance of existing programmes. They will also drive client development in Singapore and overseas.
The responsibilities of this role encompass:
Business Development:
- Working with Associate Dean to develop and drive strategic goals for the department in areas of business development and client expansion.
- Engaging in marketing and client engagement to widen the reach of executive education at the School.
- Preparing proposals for executive training programmes.
Programme Development:
- Professionalising Executive Education department, focusing on continuous improvement in service delivery and programmes.
- Exploring new formats to develop and deliver programmes.
- Developing fresh content with faculty members and practitioners to strengthen the portfolio of executive programmes being offered.
- Working with faculty to ensure continuous improvement of current programmes.
Performance Management:
- Ensuring the financial stability of the unit and consistent high quality programme delivery.
- Preparing reports on Executive Education.
- Providing opportunities for the professional development of each member of the Executive Education team. Setting time to individually coach each member.
- Maintaining the cohesiveness of the team and expanding their capacity to run programmes.
- Assessing performance of faculty and associates.
Capacity Development:
- Strengthening Executive Education’s backend systems, including information systems, to improve integrity of data capture, ease of retrieval, and corporate knowledge retention.
- Organising the unit to maximise its administrative capacity to engage clients.
- Strengthening the capacity and interest of faculty (internal and external) to deliver executive education.
Building Interdepartmental Relationships:
- Build and maintain productive working relationship with other departments to ensure cohesive interface between the School and stakeholders.
