Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in design, configuration, and management of IT Windows and Linux Infrastructure.
• Technically competent in Active Directory, VMware ESX, Hypervisor, Backup System, SAN Storage. This shall include knowledge on systems requiring high availability, fully redundant system and load balancing technology.
• Experience in Server administration (Windows/Linux) is required. Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Capacity planning and performance monitoring of systems are the responsibility of this role.
• Essential to hold MCSE/RHCE certifications. CCNA or higher certification would be preferred.
• Will be required to assist in network support/projects and procurement of IT equipment and software.
• Independent, willing to learn and able to perform tasks with minimum supervision
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with good command of English
• Highly developed customer service skills
• Self-motivated, positive attitude and a team player

The successful candidate will provide technical solution and support for the network & system infrastructure.

You will be responsible for implementation, administration and security control of the servers as well as performing daily system operations, regular maintenance and upgrade. You will also be required to resolve and configure servers, SAN storage, E-mail system. Additionally, you will have to prepare and maintain documentation and detailing configuration of deployed solutions.

You should possess a Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in technical implementation of IT projects. Minimum certifications in MCSE and RHEL are a must. Experience and/or familiarity with structured cabling, network, wireless LAN, routing technologies and network solutions are required. You should have good interpersonal skills and customer service oriented. Good written/presentation skills and project management experience would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be required to provide support for network infrastructure within the campus. Other areas would be to manage and administer the Windows/Linux servers, SAN storage, Backup System as well as the DR activities.
