Competencies

In order to be successful for this role, the candidate must possess the following competencies and experience:

  • At least a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
  • Knowledge in SAP and MS Office is required.
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in technical sales or operations in the chemical industry.

 
 
ResponsibiliTies

The roles and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Responsible for the complete sales process, from acquisition, bid proposal, contract negotiations and after-sales service.
  • Maintain business with existing customers by frequent technical and commercial meetings.
  • Acquire new customers and maintain reporting systems.
  • Develop & propose price/margin expectations based on market analysis.
  • Liaise with technical service and deliver technical feedback from the customer.
  • Provide on-site services, such as start-up assistance and customer trainings
  • Perform data evaluations, technical consulting, troubleshooting.
  • Take part in technical and commercial trainings and participate in conferences and congresses.
