- Degree qualification

- Provide Nursing leadership, management and directions in regards to setting quality standards, staff development and resource management in daily operation of the unit
- Foster professional collegial relationship with Medical, Allied Heathcare, Nursing teams and patients
- Plan staff schedule to ensure an optimal skills mix in proportion to patient acuity and census
- Conduct daily ward rounds, resolve and follow through service/quality/medico-legal issues
