Our client is actively search for a Production Supervision to join their team!

In order to be successful for this role, the candidate must possess the following competencies and experience:

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Process Technology or similar
• Minimum 5 to 7 years working experience in the Chemical / Petrochemical Industry
• Demonstrated computer skills including SAP, MS Office, Outlook and industry specific data basis
• Prior experience as a Shift Supervisor in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in ERT and safety activities will be added advantage
• Prior experience in assessing employee performance, creating individualized training and development plans and measuring development against goals is preferred

 

The roles and responsibilities of this role include:

• Providing leadership and direction for day-to-day manufacturing operations by meeting production goals in areas of safety, on-time delivery of quantity and quality and cost efficiency.
• Ensuring competent and adequate manpower in the production area
• Coordinate production activities with various stakeholders
• Establish and implement SOP in the area of shutdown / startup of plant
• Participate in safety planning, inspection, risk assessment and compliance of all safety requirements
