Our client is actively searching for a Senior Executive, Software Support to join their team.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

  • Degree, Diploma in computer engineering, computer science or related discipline.
  • More than three years of experiences in networking products or production printing products or as software support specialist preferable in the office equipment industry.
  • Microsoft Certification (MCITP) or its equivalent.
  • Colour application (e.g. Photoshop) and colour management knowledge.

 

 
ResponsibiliTies

The responsibilities of this role encompasses:

1. Providing technical support for the Printing/Solution products

  • Preparation of new product launching

    • Gathering information of the new product

    • Attending technical training by headquarters

    • Preparation for the new product technical training

    • Conducting technical training

    • Supporting show or demonstration of the new products

  • Field support (for Subsidiaries & Distributors)

    • Conducting follow-up training

    • Distribution of technical information

    • Response to question/request from subsidiaries

    • Analyzing reported problem from subsidiaries

    • Analyzing service indicators reported from subsidiaries

    • Advising subsidiaries to resolve the problem

2. Requesting/reporting to headquarters

  • Requesting headquarters to solve the problem reported from the field

  • Reporting technical information which is related to the software connectivity to headquarters for product and support improvement

3. Supporting subsidiaries and distributors

  • Supporting improvement of software support system

  • Supporting improvement of servers training system

4. Internal process and system improvement

  • Reviewing internal process/system and taking action for improvement

  • Technical information Database maintenance on demand

  • Suggesting for the improvement
