Our client is actively searching for a Higher Education Consultant (Service & Solution) to join their team.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experiences:

  • Degree in Marketing or IT related or its equivalent
  • 3 to 5 year experience in software & office automation products management or similar product / technology marketing preferably software relating to Education Sector.
  • Managing cross-functional and virtual teams to meet key (operational) performance indicators.
  • Building, developing and managing effective extended teams across regional boundaries including internal stakeholders, vendors, partners and customers.
  • Ability to build productive relationships at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading projects related to partner relationship management and Information Technology (IT) / Information & Communication Technology (ICT) life cycle management.
  • Experience dealing directly with Higher Education customers (multiple stakeholder groups, functions, levels, etc) to identify their challenges, scope requirements, etc.
  • Experience working across cultures with ability to provide direction to a diverse group of people.

 

 
ResponsibiliTies

The overall responsibilities of this role include:

1. Sales Enablement

  • Support regional sales offices (pre-sales, bid teams, etc.) and Marketing teams to effectively introduce and sell a complex consultancy led Higher Education Value Proposition.

2. Value Proposition (VP) Strategy 

  • Inform / influence Value Proposition portfolio (Bundle services of hardware, software & solution) strategy development initiatives as per agreed objectives, quality and time scales.

3. Local, Regional and Global Alignment

  • Ensure alignment through effective on-going collaboration with key personnel in regional sales offices (including Professional Services, Technical Sales and Product Marketing teams) who manage existing VP portfolios and partner relationships.

4. Project Management

  • Provide varying levels of project management support and creation of new benchmark, ie. KPIs, measuring project outcome, etc.

5. Customer Relationship Management

  • Establish strong relationships with regional customers and help to validate our growth initiatives linked to partner, VP and broader portfolio development in terms of credibility, proven track record, etc.
  • Any other projects that may be assigned from time to time.
