Competencies
  • A degree in Mass Communications or Business Administration.

  • At least 5-years’ experience in product marketing, specializing in metal-analog timepieces in the luxury / premium market segment.

  • Individuals with experience in working with the media, general public relations and advertising are highly preferred.

  • Must be effectively bilingual, fluent both spoken and written English and Mandarin. Spoken and written Japanese highly preferred, but not necessary. (To liaise with Associates)

  • Pleasant personality that works well with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite 6 products, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design and Premiere is highly desired.

  • Must be able to travel up to 4-times on business in a calendar year.

 

 
ResponsibiliTies
  • To focus on elevating the EDIFICE and Premium range of Company timepieces as a primary focus, while also assist in the branding and marketing of the other Company timepiece brands.

  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Company’s products in the Singapore market.

  • To act as a bridge between the timepiece sales functionaries and the Marketing Division, in order to formulate, coordinate and execute targeted sales and marketing campaigns within the Singapore market.

  • To understand the needs of the wholesale and direct business, and support the channels with the appropriate point-of-sales-materials (POSMs) in a timely manner.

  • To monitor competitors’ activities closely, and in doing so provide effective countermeasures to maintain profitability.

  • To analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and provide alternatives and/or make adjustments where necessary to achieve / maintain a high return of investment (ROI).

  • Where necessary, assist the Head of Marketing in the management and allocation of the advertising and promotions budget.

  • This position answers to the Head of Marketing, and has no direct report.

 
Experience
