Possess a degree in Mechanical engineering or related discipline

2 to 3 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, in tendering process with hands on knowledge of preparing detailed cost estimates and bills of material, and in order management.

Highly proficient in MS Excel and MS Office suite of applications

Competent in data analysis, savvy with numbers and high level of accuracy and speed

Strong interpersonal skills with excellent spoken and written communication skills needed for interaction with internal and external customers in a multi-cultural environment

Experience in Sales and Distribution modules in SAP will be an added advantage

Able to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines

Self-starter with drive to succeed and leadership potential

Focal point for preparation of techno-commercial quotation packages including bills of material, cost estimates and order management for surface wellheads and Christmas trees.

Focal point for tenders, quotations and order management

Review tender requirements and co-ordinate with the relevant functions and suppliers of inputs (viz. Engineering, QA, Supply Chain & Materials Management, HSE, Sales & Marketing, and Aftermarket etc.)

Prepare detailed Bills of Material and Cost estimates

Facilitate pricing and tender packaging within schedules

Submit quotations and tenders on time

Liaise with internal and external customers/suppliers for clarifications / negotiations

Conduct Contract review

Order kickoff with the relevant functions such as Engineering, Supply Chain & Materials Management, QA etc. and enter Sales orders into SAP and co-ordinate order execution to meet contractual requirements

Reporting – Weekly Quote updates, Order status reports, Monthly Liquidated damages report, Warranty etc.
