Competencies
  • A recognised relevant degree in computing/IT qualification from a good University.
  • In-depth working experience in Oracle and/or SAP systems.

  • Experience in system start-up, system development or development of student information system for local universities or institutions of higher learning is preferred,

ResponsibiliTies

This position will assist three Divisions, the Registrar’s Office (RO); Academic Analysis & Planning (AAP); and International Collaboration Office (ICO) in the development of the Student Information System.  The appointed Managers will assist RO, AAP and ICO to work closely with the SIS developer in the planning, development, testing and implementation of the SIS.   

  • Gather information for the development of the SIS modules with the respective divisions: RO, AAP and ICO;
  • Consult RO, AAP and ICO to ensure that the required specifications and business processes of each division are in place and the deliverables match;
  • Develop a timetable for the co-ordination, documentation, implementation of the project for the three divisions;
  • Support communications and translate requirements of the divisions into workable and reliable systems; 
  • Organise meetings and take notes of decisions made at the meetings;
  • Keep RO, AAP and ICO fully informed of the projected progress and actual development of the project in a timely manner;
  • Do the necessary follow-ups and closing the loop on matters arising;
  • Put up change requests;
  • Conduct User Acceptance Tests (UATs) and draft reports on post-UAT;
  • Provide support to RO, AAP and ICO when the SIS goes live until it stabilise.
  • Other duties assigned or associated with the SIS project.
  • The incumbent will be on a 2 years contract.

Salary
$3500 -- $5000 per Month
