ResponsibiliTies |
To be part of the HR Team and provide HR expertise and support to management, in line with the School’s overall mission and objectives
A. Executive & Professionals Portfolio:
(i) Recruitment of Administrative roles
- Work with the various hiring departments on their recruitment needs
- Track all positions / vacancies to be filled
- Liaise with Central HR for job postings, and coordinate with them for recruitment press advertisements
- Prepare and disseminate Internal Vacancy Circulars amongst all staff in the School
- Liaise with recruitment agencies for source of candidates
- Manage contracts / terms of agreement with recruitment agencies
- Compile a database of applicants and identified suitable candidates for the vacant positions by reviewing their resumes
- Present suitable CVs to hiring departments and schedule interview sessions for shortlisted candidates
- Oversee and ensure smooth operations of the interviews which are coordinated by the Management Assistant Officer, including obtaining the recruitment documents, e.g. Interview Report Form, from the hiring department
- Carry out internal salary benchmarking for new hires
- Draft appointment submission to Dean
- Liaise with central HR on administrative staff appointment matters
- Maintain list of Reviewing Officers and Countersigning Officers for all administrative staff in the School
- Conduct and process confirmation of appointment, renewal of contract, and exit formalities for all administrative staff in the School
(ii) Performance Management Cycle
B. Learning & Development:
- Yearly Training Sponsorship Exercise
- Ensure post-course/training evaluation are documented proper
- Facilitate and execute the planning of in-house training courses
- Prepare quarterly reports on training hours to be sent out
C. HR Events & Staff Welfare Matters:
- Take charge of staff events such as Town Hall, and Annual Admin Leaning Day
- Facilitate for yearly Health Screening Day with relevant vendors
- Maintain database on Welfare Fund and Staff Retreat Fund
D. ISO Re-Certification:
- Ensure that all changes and new implementations made to HR workflow
processes are documented and captured accurately and in a timely manner
E. Any other duties as assigned by Associate Director (Human Resources)
