• Good University Degree.  Having a Masters is an asset.

• Proven track record with at least 8 years’ experience in implementing system, policies and process in an organisation.

• Strong analytical, problem solving, critical and lateral thinking skills.

• Excellent oral, written, communication and interpersonal skills.

The Senior Manager, Academic Analysis & Planning, supports the Director, Academic Analysis & Planning, in the planning, coordination, analysis of academic programmes and academic resource requirements, both infrastructure and manpower.

Representing the academic group, the Senior Manager will work closely with relevant divisions and supports several academic committees.

• Coordinate the initiation, development, implementation and review of academic programmes

• Collate information and draft approval papers for all new academic programme and respective capital expenditure

• Coordinate planning of academic infrastructure to meet academic programme requirements

• Develop and implement systems, policies and processes to support the functions of the academic group

• Co-ordinate the development, implementation and analysis of academic performance metrics

• Coordinate and Review academic group’s work plan and 5-year roadmap
  Monitors Academic Group budget and programme-based expenditures

• Support the Provost office in all academic matters

• Prior experience and understanding of tertiary education sector and government policy-making processes would be a distinct advantage.

• Comfortable working with numbers and IT-savvy with statistics and database management software.

• Experience in monitoring and managing budgets

• Strong analytical, problem solving, critical and lateral thinking skills.
