ResponsibiliTies

A.   Purchases & Accounts Payables

  • In charge of Goods Receipt function in GeBiz / SAP

  • In charge of 3-way match of Purchase Order, Goods Receipt Note (DO) and suppliers' invoice

  • Verify suppliers' invoices, request for payment (RFP) and claims for reimbursement (TRAC)

  • Update suppliers' invoices, request for payment (RFP) in SAP via Vendor Invoice Management System (VIM) in a timely manner

  • Verify accounting entries before posting to ensure expenses are recorded in the correct financial period

  • Prepare journal entries for adjustments

  • Create new vendor account

  • Follow up on outstanding matters relating to invoices / payments

  • Ensure timely payment to suppliers

  • Reconcile of accounts payable to statement of accounts and analyse payment / disbursement to Vendors to ensure all transactions are recorded timely and accurately

  • Prepare and submit withholding tax

B. Others

  • Assist in any other accounting related functions and reporting requirement
  • Assist in preparing balance sheet schedules and review

  • Assist in both internal and external audit including preparation of schedules or reports required for audit purposes and related consultancy work

  • Assist in yearly budget exercise

  • Liaison with other function staff to put finance and accounts in context

  • To provide advice to internal customers or other divisions of the School on Finance or Procurement related guidelines and polices

  • To provide advice to internal customers or other divisions of the School in their day-to-day execution of finance duties to ensure adherence and compliance with School-wide guidelines, policies and procedures

  • To set guidance to coach staff in their developing process

  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time

 
Experience
