Competencies

ResponsibiliTies
  • To provide support to the Donor Relations Team, which has been newly grouped under Corporate Services, in the team's implementation and execution of donor and donation related programs and services.

  • Provide overall support in the administrative process of gift processing and gift recording by coordinating with internal stakeholders and maintain regular communications with Development Office

  • Assist with the gift acknowledgement process including preparing thank you letters, official gift receipts and relevant correspondences with donors, and ensure proper gift administration.

  • Compile and prepare timely annual reports for scholarships, professorships, events and other supported programs.

  • Support donor relations’ endeavour by providing analyses on existing donors and researching on prospects.

  • Provide support on regular communications with donors through traditional and online channels including sharing monthly broadcasts and other relevant publications and reports.

  • Provide support in stewardship activities and identifying donor engagement opportunities.

  • Assist in the revamping of the Giving website to enhance quality of acknowledgement to donors as well as attract attention and support from stakeholders.

  • Maintain an updated record of donor and prospect database, and support the integration to new CRM system.

  • Drive the annual class giving campaigns to achieve higher participation

 
Experience
  • Proven track record in the support of higher education and advancement services

  • Experience in assisting with donor research, prospecting, cultivation and proposal writing

  • Experience in handling gift administration, stewardship activities and database

  • Knowledge of marketing, social media and events planning

  • Good IT skills, MS Office knowledge, web-publishing knowledge is an advantage

  • Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently

  • Analytical and meticulous with attention to important details

  • Ability to work with different stakeholders within and outside of the organization and a good team player

  • Professional demeanour, maturity and polished appearance a must

 
Salary
$4500 -- $5500 per Month
